Abstract In this article, we try to do some work for the
improvements of the drinking water treatment process. The
application of chlorine oxide (ClO2) and ozone (O3) is introduced.
And a comprehensive comparasion is made on their mechanism,
characteristics ; also, economic analyses are made.
